Harrie Samaras Assumes Two Leadership Roles with Intellectual Property Law Section of the American Bar Association
West Chester, Pa. – Harrie Samaras has been reappointed by the newly elected Chair of the ABA Intellectual Property Law Section to the Content Advisory Board (CAB) and has been appointed as the Liaison to the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution from the ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law (ABA-IPL).
As the driver for ABA-IPL Section content and publishing programs, CAB provides strategic direction, guidance, and oversight for substantive content that is produced across all media and platforms. In championing the development and value of publications that contribute to both Section dues and non-dues revenue, CAB also promotes and advances the ABA-IPL brand in accordance with the policies of the greater ABA. Working in conjunction with the Book and Magazine Boards to fulfill this mission, CAB relies on individual efforts from its members on various task forces and assignments.
As the Liaison to the Section of Dispute Resolution, Harrie will report back to ABA-IPL regarding activities, programs, and developments in the area of dispute resolution that might be of interest to its members. Where necessary, she may also bridge discussions related to policy that is common to both Sections.
